This men's dormitory was added in 1972. Lanpher Hall was named in honor of the late Wilson R. Lanpher, the first chairman of the MNU Board of Trustees and district superintendent of the Kansas City District. It is linked to Snowbarger Hall by a shared lounge and resident director's apartment.

The men's residence halls, Lanpher and Snowbarger, are nearly identical in layout to the women's residence halls, Stockton and Rice. Joined by a lobby, these two-story buildings have tile floors and each room contains bunkable twin beds, closets, desks and dressers. Two or three men may share each room. Each room is approximately 12' x 20'. As with all MNU residence halls, Lanpher is equipped with central heating and air conditioning.
